Our company has prospered in the advertising calendar industry for more than 80 years as a result
of fresh ideas, innovative design and cutting edge printing technology. Today we are proud to be
positioned as market leaders in our field with top quality products created by a talented
design team and printed on the latest digital and offset presses available.
Our market leading product design delivers stunning imagery, quality finishes and functionality
year after year. This is achieved through great synergy between our in-house design team and
in-house printing and manufacturing team where quality, consistency and attention to detail are king.
We take pride in the fact that we use environmentally friendly products throughout the entire
manufacturing process. Our environmental policy has been founded upon the principles of
minimising our utilisation of non-renewable resources and maximising recycling opportunities.
We primarily use paper that contains 100% virgin fibre that is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)
chain custody certified. Where larger offcuts are available, these are stored and distributed
free to local schools and kindergartens. The manufacturing process is Elemental Chlorine Free
and water soluble chemicals are used where possible. All other waste is recycled
and collected by various recycling companies.
From initial concept design through to production, quality control and packing for delivery,
our processes remain 100% in-house, granting us the certainty to guarantee quality of the highest level.
“FSC certification provides a credible link between responsible production and consumption of forest products, enabling consumers and businesses to make purchasing decisions that benefit people and the environment as well as providing ongoing business value.”
Our Paper Products
We primarily use Ambassador paper, which contains 100% virgin fibre that is Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) chain of custody certified. The company has initiated the process to be a Certified Printer under these regulations. The manufacturing process operates under an Environmental Management System that is certified by ISO 14001 and is Elemental Chlorine Free. The balance is virgin fibre from approved forests and controlled, non-controversial wood sources. It is made using an Elemental Chlorine-Free (ECF) bleaching process. Where larger off-cuts are available, these are stored and distributed free to local schools and kindergartens. All waste paper is collected regularly by a local recycling company.
Water Soluble Chemicals
It is our policy to purchase water soluble chemicals where possible. Any chemical that cannot be disposed of via normal waste water systems is stored in metal drums. These chemicals are then collected by a waste management company to be disposed of safely. Where possible we use non-solvent based inks and wash-up solutions. We use soy/vegetable based inks depending on the application and end use of the product.
Our policy is to limit land fill waste. Paper and cardboard waste, metal waste, plastic waste and wood pallet waste are separated and recycled by various local recycling companies. Green waste from the gardens is also recycled with a local garden recycler. Residual waste product is minimal and is disposed of via a waste removal company.
The making of a calendar
What our customers have to say about us
Drought Angels is a not-for-profit charity whose mission is to provide direct and timely financial assistance, essential resources and meaningful relief for primary producers across Australia impacted by drought and natural disasters. Our commitment is to provide heartfelt, discreet and personalised support to farmers and rural communities. Drought Angels was searching for a way to increase not just the awareness of the drought impacting our farming communities but also an opportunity to raise much needed funds to support our mission. Upon meeting with Matt at easy2C, he presented us with ideas and additional opportunities to engage our passionate followers and sponsors. He had a passion of his own for the bush and took us on a journey to produce our first calendar. Since then we have improved and streamlines our processes; we produce 10,000 calendars annually, run a yearly photo competition that engages both our farmers and city cousins and have also secured ongoing corporate support. Matt’s desire to produce an outstanding product with a heart has made our experience with the fantastic team at easy2C one of genuine fun, passion and excitement as we bring farming life to the city. We strongly encourage you to give easy2C the opportunity to share this wonderful experience with your team.
